The boarders’ programme of Sunday activities began with a very enjoyable visit to the Llangorse Rope and Riding Centre in the Brecon Beacons. After a thorough briefing by the centre's staff, all the children were kitted out with a helmet and harness.
Working in small groups, each led by an instructor, the children tackled the zip wire, the climbing wall and horizontal ropes and ladders.
Accompanying staff were impressed by the determination shown by the children as they climbed and moved several metres above the floor.
