A 'family fun' day at Malvern College Pre-Prep

In July 2008, Malvern College will be saying farewell to its Pre-Prep site, Hampton in Abbey Road, following its merger and relocation to The Downs School in Colwall. Mrs Jill Walters would like to invite all past and present pupils of the Pre-Prep to a 'Fun and Farewell' day on Saturday 14th June from 12 noon until 4pm at Hampton.

The staff and parents have worked hard to ensure a great day out for the whole family, including a spectacular magic show. Throughout the day, the children will be able to enjoy circus skills, face- and pottery-painting, and a bouncy castle. Special guests are a family of owls, who have kindly agreed to keep Hooter (the Pre-Prep owl) company. For the more daring parent, there is the rodeo bull and the opportunity to be drenched in the school stocks. Submissions are also welcome for the cake stall with the winning entry to be judged by Mrs Walters (herself a cake connoisseur). British summer permitting, families are invited to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a barbecue, pig roast and strawberries and cream on the lawns of Hampton. Should weather not be so kind, the event will move into the Margaret Prior Hall.
