Pastoral Care at Malvern
Malvern College places emphasis on pastoral care. It provides a safe, friendly and supportive environment through the houses and through a tutor/mentor system that has set the standard for other independent schools. Whilst it is easy for a school to say that they provide good pastoral care, Malvern College places it at the heart of its busy daily life. Equal Opportunities
Malvern College is a truly coeducational school with girls and boys in all year groups. The move to coeducation took place in 1992, not by stealth but by the joining of two single sex schools. Read more...

Community Service - caring for others
At Malvern College we believe in taking the concept of caring for others out into the local community. On Tuesday afternoons, over 300 pupils are engaged in Community Service. Some of the activities undertaken under the aegis of Community Service (CS) benefit individual pupils (e.g. cookery, expedition training) but many more serve the broader school community (e.g. re-cycling, theatre help); and the majority of activities are aimed at responding to the needs of the local people.
